Ice Cream Makes Me Smile

Today is beautifully sunny and bright. It's been getting so nice and warm now, even though it's only March, so we got some ice cream! I wanted coffee ice cream cuz that's my favorite, but Bearbearette said we should try something new. Usually, I like to get coffee ice cream and eat it with a warm brownie. Bearbearette likes strawberry ice cream, especially the kind that has little bits of strawberry in it. Pearpear says he doesn't care and that he's got better things to do than discuss ice cream flavors; but we all know he's got a sweet spot for chocolate chip.

We decided to get cookies & cream and butter pecan this time, because all three of us like cookies & cream, and the butter pecan is something we haven't really tried much. I'm not sure I understand why it's "butter" pecan; I see the pecans, but where's the butter? It just tastes sugary to me. Besides, shouldn't butter go on popcorn? Does this mean I should be eating popcorn with my ice cream now? Oh well, I'm going to go enjoy my ice cream now because it makes me smile =)
